Kimono & Kilt! or Happy St. Patrick's Day!

Going way back (Ack!! 15-years) into my photo archives today... This is a quick snap after the March 2002, St. Patrick's Day Parade in Harajuku, Tokyo. They had great smiles and wore kimono and kilt well!

Shot with my ancient long deceased Canon Powershot S100.

Autumn Cocoon

I have a special fondness for the Cocoon Tower in Shinjuku. It just pushes the right visual buttons and is one of the many iconic buildings in Tokyo designed by Tange Associates, founded by Kenzo Tange.

Autumn colors comes to Yoyogi National Gymnasium and Yoyogi Koen

Still posting photos from my backlog while I've been laid up with my broken ankle. Tonight, I've made it to my photos from November.

Autumn colors came to Yoyogi National Gymnasium and Yoyogi Koen in early November. There will be more autumn colors from 2016 coming in future posts...

Back at the Miraikan in Odaiba

It's been over five years since since I first posted photos of the National Museum of Emerging Science and Innovation (Miraikan) in Odaiba. The main hall with its giant globe is visually stunning and always fascinating. I'm quite sure that the pictures I've taken don't capture the scale and it's unique qualities.

Shibuya Evening Lights... One More from October 2016

Here's one more from my walk through Shibuya of the famous crossing or scramble. As I've said before, I really don't like Shibuya, but it's easy to take a pretty picture there.
